Surface-Similarity vs. Voxel-Similarity Based Registration of Multimodality Medical Images using Simulated Annealing

چکیده

This paper develops a framework for research in the eld of multimodality image registration. A certain formal treatment of the registration problem is proposed. We discuss some aspects of the surface and voxel-similarity measures in a context of simulated annealing based optimization.
